Privacy Policy (Account & Chat)

Welcome to Imposter 3D: Online Horror!
This Policy explains how IP Demkin Danila (Snow Bat) (“we”, “us”, “Operator”) collects and uses the personal data you provide when you create or use a registered account in the game and when you participate in in-game chat.
1. Definitions
- Personal data – information that identifies or can identify you.
- Guest – player without a registered account (quick-chat only).
- Registered user – player who creates an account through Firebase Authentication.
2. What data we collect and why

* We do not collect passwords; authentication is handled by Firebase.
3. Legal bases
We process data only when at least one legal basis applies:
- Agreement (contract) – to provide the service you request (account, cloud save, chat).
- Consent – you tick “Accept” before creating an account; guests stay anonymous.
- Legitimate interest – ensure security, prevent fraud and toxicity.
4. Children & age limits
- Creating a registered account is allowed only for users who have reached the minimum age of digital consent applicable in their country. In most countries this is 14 years, however in some jurisdictions a higher age applies (for example, 15 or 16 years).
- In countries where the minimum age of digital consent is higher than 14, users below that age may create an account only with verifiable parental consent. If such consent is not provided, the user must play as a Guest.
- Players who do not meet the applicable age requirement must use the Product only as Guests; Guests have access to quick-chat only and cannot send free-text messages.
- We plan to introduce an extended birth-date check and parental-consent flow. Until then, parental supervision is advised.
5. Who else processes the data
- Google Firebase (USA/EU) – authentication, cloud save, crash logs
- Photon PUN 2 (Germany) – real-time multiplayer; receives PlayerID & IP for matchmaking
- Yandex Cloud (Russia) – stores chat logs and moderation reports
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own marketing.
6. Storage periods
- Account & progress – while the account exists.
- Chat logs & reports – up to 365 days then auto-deleted, unless needed to investigate rule violations.
- Back-ups – retained 7 days before secure deletion.
7. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- request a copy of your data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete the account (see §8);
- withdraw consent and restrict processing.
Requests are processed within 30 days: snowbatstudio@gmail.com.
8. How to delete your account
- Open Online > Account > Account Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm; the data disappears from the game immediately and is erased from our servers within 30 days.
9. Security measures
- Traffic encrypted via TLS 1.3
- Account tokens stored with industry-standard hashing (bcrypt)
- Strict access control & automated intrusion monitoring
No internet system is 100 % secure; we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed on servers located in different jurisdictions. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect it.
11. Policy changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes are announced in-game or on the website. Continued use after the update means acceptance of the new terms.
